Multidisciplinary Innovation in Health

Multidisciplinary Innovation in Health

The Multidisciplinary Innovation in Health research line aims to explore and promote innovative solutions and technologies in Medicine I, through multidisciplinary integration

Its purpose is to transform scientific discoveries into practical applications that expand access to health and promote human well-being, develop new products, and improve the efficiency of health processes and services while strengthening the training of qualified professionals in the area.

This research line aims to develop, evaluate, and apply innovative technologies and approaches in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS) and supplementary health, focusing on improving healthcare quality. In addition, it seeks to contribute to the training of professionals capable of interacting with the sectors of the health economic and industrial complex, in their various areas of activity.

Above all, it aims to train dedicated teachers, capable of contributing to developing innovations and technologies for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring, especially of chronic, degenerative, and neoplastic diseases, which are aligned with the country’s realities and needs.
