The Graduate Program in Health Sciences at Faculdade Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas de Minas Gerais (FCM-MG) expands the offer of the Master\u2019s degree in Belo Horizonte, providing a curriculum aligned with the activities of health professionals in the job market. Initially organized into three main areas – \u201dApplied Sciences to Cancer,\u201d \u201cApplied Sciences to Cardiovascular Diseases,\u201d and \u201cTranslational Medicine\u201d\u2014the program introduced a new research track in 2025: \u201cMultidisciplinary Innovation in Health,\u201d aimed at exploring and promoting innovative solutions and technologies in the field of Medicine I, through interdisciplinary integration.\u00a0<\/p>

Recognized for its interdisciplinary approach, the program stands out due to its highly qualified faculty of researchers. It also boasts excellent physical and technological infrastructure, equipped with advanced resources that provide ideal conditions for developing projects and fostering scientific collaboration. This structure is backed by the support of various units within the institution, including the University Hospital of Faculdade Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas de Minas Gerais (HUCM-MG), the Outpatient Clinic of Faculdade Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas de Minas Gerais (ACM-MG), the Oncology Institute of Faculdade Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas de Minas Gerais (IONCM-MG), the Eye Institute of Faculdade Ci\u00eancias M\u00e9dicas de Minas Gerais (IOCM-MG), the Skills and Realistic Simulation Laboratory (LabSim), and the Cardiopulmonary Assessment and Intervention Laboratory. The program\u2019s strength is also illustrated through its partnerships with national and international institutions, expanding opportunities for scientific collaboration and integrating researchers into the global scene. Consequently, research projects are developed in Belo Horizonte and at various research centers across Brazil and internationally, enabling productive exchanges with esteemed Brazilian and international researchers. This network of cooperation contributes to the production of studies published in high-impact journals, demonstrating the excellence and significance of the program. Furthermore, the variety of the faculty\u2019s work is evident in numerous research tracks, projects, theses, and dissertations, underscoring the breadth and innovation that characterize the Master\u2019s Program.\u00a0<\/p>

The general objective of the Master’s degree course of the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences (PPGCS) of FCMMG is to train highly qualified professionals with intellectual autonomy, interdisciplinary competence, and the ability to develop, apply, and disseminate innovative and multidisciplinary scientific knowledge, prepared to work in the areas of teaching, research and clinical practice, aligned with the demands of society and the challenges of the health system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
