Larissa Tavares Aguiar, PhD

Physiotherapist from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG/2012), master in Rehabilitation Sciences from UFMG (2015), and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from UFMG (2019). She also holds a PhD in Sciences de la réadaptation from the Université de Montréal (UdeM) (co-supervision) (2019). She completed her postdoctoral studies from 2019 to 2021 in the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at UFMG. She was a CNPq postdoctoral fellow. She worked as a substitute professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at UFMG. She was a professor at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG) and at Faculdade Sete Lagoas (FACSETE). She is currently a professor of Physiotherapy in the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences and academic manager at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais (FCMMG). She was deputy coordinator of the Physiotherapy course at FCMMG and a collaborator in the Research and Extension Sector of FCMMG. She worked as coordinator of the specialization course in adult and pediatric neurofunctional physiotherapy at Faculdade Inspirar. She is a researcher in the research group on Adult Neurological Rehabilitation at UFMG (NEUROGroup) and NeuroEixo, both registered with CNPq. She conducts research in the area of neurofunctional physiotherapy for adults and the elderly. She was the coordinator of the extension project “Health Education about Stroke (CVA) – EDUCAVC”. She is a scientific reviewer for national and international journals. She has experience in the area of neurofunctional physiotherapy for adults and the elderly.

Antonio Carlos de Castro Toledo Jr. is an infectious disease specialist who graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 1991, completed his master’s degree in Public Health from UFMG in 1997, and his doctorate in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro, Uberaba, in 2008. Currently, his career is focused on teaching and research in education. He works at the Prof. Edson Antônio Velano University (UNIFENAS)/Alfenas Foundation for Education and Technology (FETA) in Belo Horizonte, where he is a researcher and adjunct professor. He was the General Coordinator of Medicine at the Belo Horizonte Campus, responsible for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Medicine. He currently coordinates the Comprehensive Health Care Internship. He is a guest reviewer for six national journals: Brazilian Journal of Medical Education, Cadernos de Saúde Pública, Brazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases, Journal of the Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine, Pan-American Journal of Infectology, and Brazilian Journal of Epidemiology. A former president of the Minas Gerais Society of Infectology, he was president of the 1st Minas Gerais Congress of Infectology and the 42th Brazilian Congress of Infectology. He has published 46 articles in specialized journals and 89 papers presented at scientific events. He has published eight books and three chapters. He has given 25 lectures or classes at scientific events. He has organized 27 scientific events and taught 15 short courses. In the area of management, he was the founder and first Coordinator of the National Viral Hepatitis Program of the Ministry of Health, coordinator of the Fiat Foundation’s Own Medical Services Network, general director of the Contagem Municipal Hospital and coordinator of the state HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis programs of Minas Gerais. He worked for XNUMX years as a medical manager and consultant for the pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on Biobrás, Roche, and Genzyme. He completed three short courses abroad (Johns Hopkins University, USA, University of California, San Francisco, USA, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland) with emphasis on epidemiology, clinical research, and education. He received four awards or honors, including Patron of the XNUMXnd and XNUMXth Classes of the UNIFENAS-BH Medical School. He was a Substitute Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of UFMG, Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais, and consultant in the area of Medical Education. He holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1994), a medical residency in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology from the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA) (1995-1999), and a master’s degree in Medical Sciences: Endocrinology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2003). He completed his PhD abroad with a CAPES scholarship (2007-2011) at Imperial College London, United Kingdom, focusing on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) under the guidance of Prof. Stephen Franks. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and in the Postgraduate Program in Molecular Medicine at UFMG (Capes score 6) and is the leader of the Research Group on Prevalent Endocrine-Metabolic Diseases at UFMG. He is a professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais, where he works as a collaborator of the Academic Master’s Degree in Health Sciences. Member of the Department of Female Endocrinology, Andrology and Transgenderism (DEFAT) of SBEM. He is an academic editor of the journals PLOS One and Medicine. Dr. Gisele Viana de Oliveira is a dermatologist and member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, an International Fellow at the American Academy of Dermatology, and a consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group. She holds a Post Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Trauma and Burn (2002-2004). She holds a PhD in Cell Biology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2005). She holds a Master’s degree in Surgery from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2000). She holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995). She has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Dermatology and Morphology (treatment of scars, wounds, burns, and keloids). Dermatological consultations, diseases, laser treatments, microneedling, pulsed light, cryotherapies, cauterizations, treatments for keloids, burns, wounds and scars. Elected President of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology for the 2023 – 2024 term. She is a professor of the permanent staff of the PPG in Health Sciences at FCMMG and of the APCN for a doctorate submitted to CAPES.
